Now Boty can talk back too
You could already talk to Boty by voice (read that announcement here). Now Boty can also reply with its own voice — both on WhatsApp and in your editor's chat.
When does it reply with a voice note?
Boty follows two simple rules:
- If you send it a voice note, it replies with one. Just like sending a voice note to any contact, Boty answers back with its own.
- If you write in text asking it to reply with audio, it replies with audio for just that one message. If you keep writing in text afterward without asking again, Boty goes back to replying in plain text — it won't get "stuck" always answering in voice.
If you're ever unsure about when it talks versus when it types, just ask it directly and it'll explain.
On WhatsApp
Send Boty a voice note with your question on WhatsApp and, if either rule above applies, you'll get the reply back as a regular voice note, ready to listen to just like any other audio message.
In the editor's chat
Inside Boty's chat in your editor — the same one you use day to day to ask for changes to your page — the voice reply shows up with its own player in the conversation, right alongside the text of what it said, in case you'd rather read it.
