Guided purchase on external sites: your store's buy button starts the order with your assistant

If you have your assistant embedded in an external site and it has the Smart Sales extension, that site's buy button can now start the order with the assistant.

How to connect it​

In Share, Embed tab, you will find the "Connect your site's buy button" section:

  • WooCommerce: choose the platform, copy the code and paste it into your site. No extra code to write.
  • Another platform: enter three CSS selectors (buy button, product container and name) and copy the resulting code.
  • With your own code: call the HolaTienda.addToOrder method from your button or from Google Tag Manager.

What happens when the customer buys​

The assistant opens, adds the product with its quantity and follows the Smart Sales flow: customer details, summary, payment and receipt. Your site's button keeps doing its own thing.

For the product to be exact, use in the "Link" field of the assistant's product the same address it has on your site.
