Your tokens now top up before they run out
Running out of tokens stops your assistant and your AI tools right when you need them most. You can now ask Hola Tienda to alert you when your tokens are running low and, if you want, to buy the same package for you automatically.
How do I turn it on?
- Open Tokens ✨ and pick the package you want to buy.
- In the payment step you will see the "Alert me when my tokens run low" box. Type the minimum number of tokens at which you want the alert (from 1 up to the tokens in the package). If you leave it empty or at 0, nothing is activated, and an alert you already had is kept.
- If you pay with a method marked for future payments, either saving it right then with the "Use this method for future payments" checkbox or choosing one you already had, the automatic recharge is turned on as well as the alert.
This option is never turned on by itself: it depends on you typing the minimum and paying with a method saved for future payments.
What happens when I reach the minimum?
- We alert you by email, and by WhatsApp if you have a phone number saved.
- If the automatic recharge is on, we try to buy the same package you chose again, using your main method first and, if it does not work, the other methods you have saved for future payments. When the charge is approved, your tokens are added and you get the payment email.
- If the charge could not be completed, we write to you so you can top up manually. We do not retry over and over: there is a single attempt each time your balance reaches the minimum.
How do I know my tokens are low?
When you are at the minimum or below, the tokens counter in your website editor and in your assistant editor turns red. You also see a red dot on the Recharge tokens button in Consumption and Subscriptions, and the tokens window shows a notice inviting you to buy a package right away.
How do I turn it off or change it?
- In Consumption and Subscriptions, open the bell 🔔: you will see the package that will be recharged and you can turn off the automatic recharge at any time, or adjust your minimum.
- You can also delete the saved payment method, as with the automatic renewals of extensions.
- If you buy another package and set a new alert, the recharge moves to that package.
Keep in mind
Saved payment methods belong to your whole account: the same method you save to renew your extensions is also used to recharge tokens, and the other way around. You can read the details in our Terms and Conditions (clause 9), and your card data stays protected directly by the payment provider, as always.
