You can now upload your own images directly through Boty

We recently told you that you could ask Boty to generate images with AI directly in chat. But several of you told us something different: sometimes you don't want a generated image, you want to use your own photo — of your store, your products, your team.

Starting today, that path is also available from the chat.

How does it work?

• If you tell Boty something like "I want to upload my own image" or "upload my photos", it shows you the same familiar gallery to pick which image on your page you want to work on — but this time it lets you upload your own file directly, without generating anything with AI.
• If you'd already uploaded an image that way and ask Boty to change it ("change that image"), it takes you straight to uploading the new file over that same spot.
• Inside that same window you can freely switch between "Generate with AI" and "Upload Manually" at any time, without losing whatever you'd already typed or selected — in case you change your mind partway through.

As always, this is an extra path: the Blue Pencil 🖊️ still works exactly the same for manually uploading an image over a specific element, and the Purple Spark ✨ for generating with AI.
