Your page editor
Whether Boty, Cris, or you yourself created your page, everything is adjusted from the same editor. Here's how to use each tool.
Editing text and images
Tap (or click, on a computer) directly on any text or image on your page — the right editor opens right away, no icons to hunt for:
- If that content accepts AI generation (most text and images), it first asks whether you want to generate with AI or edit it yourself/upload your own image. If you pick AI, you can give it a specific idea or instruction (for example "make the background white" or "give me the text in English") in the window that appears.
- If that content only supports manual editing (for example a product's price), the right editor opens directly.
Fields that are still empty show a hint telling you what to tap to add content there.
To clear a text or an image, tap it, choose manual editing, and delete the content (the field starts empty, no need to delete what was already there first). If you try to save it that way, we'll ask you to confirm before applying it — and if you change your mind afterward, you can always undo it with the editor's Undo button at the top. In the Settings forms (page name, billing details, WhatsApp, etc.) you can also tap the small x next to a field with content to clear it in one tap.
:::tip Not happy with the result? If a text doesn't convince you or an image came out with an error, tap it again and choose to generate with AI — you can repeat this as many times as you want. Generating text with AI is free and unlimited; generating an image costs 1 token (see AI Tokens) — images generated with Premium tokens have higher quality than those from your daily free tokens. :::
:::tip You can also ask Boty in chat If you'd rather not hunt for the exact image yourself, just tell Boty something like "generate an image" or "change the image to a sunset on the beach" — it'll show you a gallery of your images to pick from, or if you mean the one you just generated, it'll adjust that one directly. If you'd rather upload your own photo instead of generating one with AI, tell it something like "I want to upload my own image": it'll let you pick the image and upload your file directly, and inside that same window you can switch between "Generate with AI" and "Upload Manually" whenever you like.
The same works for text: tell it "generate text for my title" or "I want to write the description myself", and Boty will show you every text on your page (titles, subtitles, content, descriptions) grouped so you can pick which one — with the same free switch between "Generate with AI" and "Edit Manually" inside that window. :::
Editing sections
A wrench icon 🔧 appears in the top-right corner of each section. Clicking it opens a toolbar:
- Rename: type into the field shown in the toolbar — the change applies instantly and is reflected in the menu and the section's URL.
- Move up ⬆️ / down ⬇️: reorders the section (if it's already at one end, it wraps to the other).
- Expand horizontally ↔️: adjusts the container width across 3 levels, from wide side margins to full width.
- Expand vertically ↕️: adjusts the space above and below the section.
- Hide/Show 👁️: hides the section from your visitors without deleting it.
- Duplicate ⿻: creates an identical copy right below it.
- Edit 🖊: opens a form to modify every field of the section (name, slug, title, subtitle, excerpt, type, container style, layout), and also to delete it.
- Add ➕: adds a new section below, letting you choose its name and type — see Sections and themes for every available type.
Elements within a section
If a section has multiple elements (for example testimonials, benefits, or products), you can add or remove each one with the ➕ buttons and the trash icon 🗑️. The "See More" buttons on some cards are edited by tapping them directly — if you leave the URL empty, the button won't be visible to your visitors.
:::tip You can also ask Boty in chat Tell it something like "add a product" or "add a testimonial" and Boty adds it directly to the right section, no need to hunt for the ➕ button. If you don't have that section on your page yet, Boty creates it at the end along with the first item. If it's not sure which section you mean, it'll ask instead of guessing.
You can also ask it to hide a section for you — tell it something like "hide the testimonials section" and, if it can identify it, it'll confirm before making the change. :::
Header, footer, and contact
- Navigation menu options: edited by tapping them directly from the footer.
- Social icons and contact icon: only edited manually, and on desktop you can drag and drop to reorder them.
- WhatsApp button (the floating green button): tap it to set your country code, phone number, the text visitors see on hover, and the pre-filled message that opens in WhatsApp. Every other contact button on the page uses this same number. If you don't set up a WhatsApp number, your visitors will write to your account's verified email instead.
- Right there you can also turn on WhatsApp reminders, so Hola Tienda can message you directly on that number when your free trial or a contracted extension is about to expire, when a payment is approved or rejected, and when your own domain goes live.
- Logo: located top-left. Until you upload one, your AI-generated brand name is shown instead — you can change it by tapping it.
- Products and articles: name, image, and description are editable manually or with AI; price, discount, and category are manual only. The star icon lets you feature them.
:::tip How do I change the price? Ask Boty Tell Boty something like "change the price" or "remove the discount on this product" and it'll take you straight to your catalog and explain how to do it by tapping the price directly — Boty never changes a price on its own, that part is always manual. :::
- Footer text (your brand name and description, menu and contact titles, credits): editable manually or with AI. Hiding the Hola Tienda credits requires the Web Hosting extension — see Extensions.
Changing the visual style (theme)
Click the gear icon ⚙️ (top right) to choose from the predefined themes and change your whole page's colors and fonts in one click. If you have the Custom Theme extension active, an advanced editor appears there for finer control — see Sections and themes and Extensions.
Your page's address (slug) and custom domain
You can change the last part of your address (www.holatienda.com/your-slug) with the pencil icon 🖊️ next to your page link, top left. If you'd rather use your own domain (www.yourbusiness.com), connect it with the 🌐 icon top right — see My account.
Preview
Right after the Publish 🚀 button, in the top bar, you'll find the button to activate preview — it shows you how your page will look once published, without affecting what's already live. Click it again (now labeled "back to editing") to return to editing mode.
Share your page with someone else to edit
You can invite someone else to edit your page with you (for example a partner or a teammate) from the people icon 👥 in the middle-right panel — see My account: share your page so someone else can edit it with you for the full details, including what a guest can and can't do.
General settings
The gear icon ⚙️ (middle-right panel) also gives you access to your page's full configuration:
- General: internal name, category, visibility (only you or everyone), favicon, cover photo for the directory, and country (adjusts price format and currency) — owner only.
- Pages: show or hide the header and footer, and add subpages (available with the Website extension).
- Theme: change colors and fonts — see above.
- Analytics: connect your Google Tag Manager key and Meta Pixel.
- Smart Assistant: turn on your own AI assistant to chat with your visitors (by text and voice) instead of the floating WhatsApp button — configure its name, greeting, avatar, biography and voice. There's also a direct shortcut from the robot icon 🤖 in the middle-right panel, next to Change Theme. Only available with the Website extension active — see Your Smart Assistant — owner only.
- Billing information: the details that appear on your payment receipts (name or business name, document type and number, email, phone, address) and whether you want to receive payment reminders by email — owner only.
:::tip Editing a page shared with you? If you accepted an invitation to edit someone else's page, you see the same editing tools (text, images, sections, WhatsApp, theme, your own tokens), but the internal name, category, visibility, the Smart Assistant, billing information, slug/domain, and the button to invite someone else are only managed by the page's owner. :::

:::tip No need to worry about forgetting If you try to leave the editor with unpublished changes, we'll warn you before you go, so you can decide whether to publish first. And if you stop interacting for a few seconds, we'll also remind you (with the publish window or a message from Boty) — so a pending change never slips your mind. :::
